Season update re COVID-19

NOTE: This season will be fluid. Procedures are subject to change. 
So be flexible and understanding to all involved in setting up the season.

WE ARE PLAYING!!! 

We have a truncated season. 

1. 2 teams
2. Make up of teams to be determined at game time
3. 8 games
4. Fridays @ 6:30 PM
   
5. July 9th to Friday Aug 27th
6. Game Time: 6:30 PM SHARP (We have no lights, so play halts when conditions warrant)
7. One umpire or...
8. Self umped if can’t get umpires to do games
9. No rain dates
10. No playoffs / championship

5. First game: Friday July 9th
6. Game Time: 6:30 PM
7. Potentially one umpire
8. Possibly self umped if can’t get umpires to do games
9. No rain dates
10. No playoffs / championship

 

1. Registration:
   1. Opens June 30th 
   2. Closes end of day Thursday June 7th
   3. Every one MUST REGISTER ONLINE (click here to register)
   4. $50 for 2021 season
   5. Payments are online (etransfer) ONLY​
2. COVID protocols
   1. If you’re sick with suspected COVID, stay away. Let your team captain know.
   2. Tracing sheet to be signed by players prior to each game
      1. Name, contact info, indicate if COVID free (Yes or No)
   3. If you bring a guest, place their name on sheet as well
   4. BRING YOUR OWN HELMET
   5. Keep distance on bench or in stands
   6. We will have Lysol, or similar, to spray down equipment

POSSIBLE START on JULY 4

1. Up to 30 players / fans
2. 9 games for season
3. $90 for season 
4. Games either Friday evenings (no lights) OR Sundays
5. One umpire  OR self "umped"

Season is still on hold. 

As of June 11h, practices can resume with up to 10 players and multiple restrictions. However, we will not be holding practices.

NOTE: We are gauging interest in the 2021 season 

Hi guys, 

If you are interested, send me an email (see contact page) by March 31st.
We will let you know where we stand at the start of April as to whether we have a season or not.

If we did play, there is a list of rules we need to follow, among them: 

• No sitting on the benches, you have to sit in the stands.
• No spitting, no chewing tobacco, no chewing sunflower seeds.
• Balls must be wiped down between innings. Any new ball that comes in has to be wiped down / disinfect.
• Shared baseball bats must be wiped down.
• No equipment sharing.
• You need to keep track for 30 days of anybody who attended the game, as a player, or spectator.
